Our Studio

WDCF stands for Where Design Comes From.

The Creative Practice

We spend our days experimenting, building, and creating from a studio in the Colorado mountains. Sketches become paintings. Ideas turn into sculpture. Patterns discovered in mathematics find their way onto paper, into print, and eventually into the hands of people who feel the pull of something they can't quite name.

Much of what we make is rooted in sacred geometry and ancient structure — the Fibonacci ring, the Lo Shu square, Chladni frequency patterns, the proportions that Da Vinci mapped and Schauberger followed and Walter Russell drew from first principles. These are not decorations. They are the architecture of things. We render them into form because we believe that what can be felt should be made holdable.

Being creative is being aware. Acutely aware that you have a sense of something undefined — and then doing the work of making it defined. That is all it ever is.

The Wardrobe carries the philosophy on a body.
The prints carry the mathematics on a wall.
The Fine Structures carry the pattern in three dimensions.
The books carry the discovery from beginning to end.

Everything here is from the same source.
That is where design comes from.

The People

Will Weyer

WDCF is managed and curated by: Will Weyer & Betsy Perez

Betsy Perez

WDCF is managed and curated by Will Weyer and Betsy Perez — artist, creative director, and the two people who designed and built the studio where all of this happens.

Will is an award-winning designer and visual artist — Webby, Davey, FWA — and the author of Within the Woven, a two-volume work mapping a decade of mathematical discovery through Woven Number Theory and the FIBO60 ring. He has traveled to the Great Pyramid of Giza three times. He was knighted in 2025 — Knight of the Order of Saint James of Holland — for his contribution to the Arts and his grasp of sacred measure.

Betsy is a creative director whose eye shapes everything WDCF puts into the world — the way it looks, the way it holds together, the way it feels when it arrives. Twenty years of strategic brand building, creative leadership, and visual storytelling across print, packaging, campaigns, and events put her in a creative class of her own.

"For we are each the stuff of stars, what we yearn for is simply more light to dance in."
